Charlie left Hogwarts after his Newts although he didn't really want to take them. Despite this he did quite well in them because he had chosen the most practical subjects and he was allowed to have a scribe to write his essays and exams due to his dyslexia. He had then been offered a place on the Welsh reserve where he had been spending his summers since he was 15 doing work experience and he knew that he had made the right decision as he had got too bulky to play Seeker at a high level. He then transferred to Romania four years later where he worked until earlier this year. He's now back at the Welsh preserve again, and enjoys being closer to his family, even if he hasn't really had time to visit with them in the last month.

Charlie has no desire to settle down at the moment, despite the fact that he just turned 30 and his mother's prodding. He enjoys flirting with woman, and loves them in all shapes and sizes, as either friends or something extra, but as of yet has not met that special someone who would make him consider giving up his bachelor lifestyle.





Year One in Review: Charlie returned to England and stayed with his friend Hermione Granger until he sorted out his own living arrangements. Now he lives in a small flat in Whales.

The Welsh Reserve proved to be horribly busy, and beyond making friends with the ill-fated Alicia Spinnet and dragging Hermione out of work every once in awhile, Charlie concentrated on work. In January the Reserve was desperate enough that Charlie owled his old mate Joscelin Jones to try to convince him to come help.

In late February, Charlie discovered a girl whom he thought was trying to commit suicide by dragon and "rescued" her. She called herself Tracey and was less than thrilled by the interruption, but Charlie insisted and invited her to volunteer at the Reserve so that he could keep an eye on her.

Tracey turned out to be Daphne Greengrass, who only volunteered to give herself another chance to get some dragon's blood to use in a highly illegal potion that she later used to poison Charlie's only sister. Her failure to kill Ginny earned her an almost deadly beating and Charlie rode in to the rescue again, this time inviting her to stay at his flat in order to keep her away from what he assumed was an abusive boyfriend.

As Charlie and Daphne continued to become friends, everyone else became convinced that the two were sleeping together at the very least. This might have had something to do with Daphne's habit of answering the door half naked. Denials on both of their parts were ignored.

Charlie was very shocked to learn that Daphne had been arrested for selling illegal potions and more specifically the potion that almost killed his sister. The knowledge that questioning revealed that she had been under Imperious during this time greatly relieved him, and after some soul searching, he forgave her and invited her back into his life.

Charlie was just as surprised as anyone else when in July he found that he could no longer deny that he was sexually attracted to his room mate and the two of them have been humping like bunnies ever since. After a pregnancy scare he admitted to himself that it was more than sex, though he has not actually said the words yet.

He's less than pleased with the knowledge that Daphne is part of the Liberi and that she is now spying on the faction for the Order of the Phoenix. Nevertheless, he is determined to support her in any way that he can to help bring down the Liberi.

What will the coming year bring for Charlie? Will he finally learn that Daphne had been in control of her actions when she stole his identity and tried to kill Ginny? Will their relationship move to the next level, or go down in flames?
